2026 CTAR BOARD OF DIRECTORS SLATE

The 2025 Nominating Committee has announced their recommendations for the 2026 CTAR leadership positions.

One candidate has been selected for each vacancy and will be elected by acclamation should no additional candidates be submitted. Additional candidates may be placed in nomination by a petition signed by at least 3 percent of REALTOR®️ members eligible to vote. If petition candidates are submitted, email voting will be conducted. Otherwise these slated candidates will be approved by acclamation.

Any petition for additional candidates must be submitted no later than October 13, 2025.

Whitley’s commitment to professionalism, strong ethical standards, and reputation as a trusted advisor have been the foundation of her success. Since beginning her real estate career in 2016, she has earned recognition as a two-time Mt. Pleasant Magazine “Best of the Best Real Estate Agent” and has been featured in Charleston Real Producers magazine. Today, she serves as Broker-in-Charge for Carolina One Real Estate, where she is proud to lead and collaborate with agents who share her passion for growth and client service.

A graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in Corporate Communications, Whitley has spent nearly three decades in the Lowcountry building both her career and community ties. She is an alum of the CTAR Civic Leaders Academy, a member of the Coastal SC Women’s Council of Realtors, and an active supporter of organizations such as RHOF, RPAC, Make-A-Wish SC, and Habitat for Humanity.

When she’s not working with clients or giving back to her community, Whitley enjoys traveling, exercising, tackling home improvement projects, and spending time with her husband, a graduate of The Citadel, and their two sons.

As a U.S. Navy veteran and Broker-in-Charge of BellStead Real Estate, Andrella Pusha leads with both grit and vision. With more than 20 years of leadership experience and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, she is known for turning challenges into opportunities and delivering results with excellence.

A graduate of the CTAR Leadership Academy, the South Carolina REALTORS® Leadership Academy, and the Urban Land Institute’s REDI Program, Andrella is among a select group of REALTOR® leaders influencing change at the local, state, and community development levels.

Her passion extends beyond real estate transactions. She is dedicated to raising professional standards, mentoring future leaders, and advancing initiatives that support housing, business ownership, and sustainable growth. For Andrella, real estate is not just about property—it’s about legacy, empowerment, and creating opportunities that last.

Shana Swain is a licensed REALTOR® with Carolina One Real Estate, where she has proudly served clients for the past five years. Committed to advancing the profession, she has served as a Director for both Carolina One and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® and is an active member of the Legislative, DEI, and RPAC Committees. Shana is also passionate about education and has shared her expertise as a speaker at schools and community programs.

Outside of real estate, Shana is the proud mother of two daughters, Zuri and Amara, who keep her inspired and on the go.

Michele Costanzo is an accomplished REALTOR® in Charleston with over 23 years of success as a top producer and industry leader. Holding designations such as ABR, CRS, CIPS, AHWD, SRES, and multiple GRI specialties, she offers expertise across historic properties, investments, luxury, commercial real estate, and distressed property solutions. Michele consistently ranks among the top producers and draws on her background as an Interior Designer to add value in staging, renovation, and space planning.

Dedicated to leadership and service, Michele has been involved with CTAR’s Global Business Chapter, the SCR Board of Directors, the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and the Gibbes Women’s Council at The Gibbes Museum of Art. Known for her collaborative spirit, strong financial acumen, and commitment to integrity, she brings forward-looking leadership to the Charleston real estate community.

Mark Mitchell, currently filling a vacancy and serving a one-year term as a director, is a seasoned business leader and real estate professional with a strong record in strategic growth, client service, and leadership. Before entering real estate, he spent 24 years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car, including 15 years as a senior officer, where he helped open more than 150 locations across the Southeast, Midwest, and East Coast. Since joining Dunes Properties of Charleston in 2006, Mark has become a trusted advisor in the local market. He and his wife were selected as preferred real estate partners for Volvo Cars in 2017, assisting with the relocation of several hundred employees to the Charleston area. In 2019, he was named Sales Manager of the Mount Pleasant branch and was later promoted to Broker-in-Charge of four Charleston-area branches.

Deeply committed to community and professional service, Mark serves on the Legislative Committee for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®, the Professional Standards Committee for South Carolina REALTORS®, the Furman University Athletic Board, and as Associate Director of the Isle of Palms LENS program. He also mentors future leaders through The Citadel Mentors Association. Mark and his wife, Lisa, live on Isle of Palms and are proud parents of four grown children.

David Kent has served in leadership at the local, state, and national levels of the National Association of REALTORS®. He is a Past President of both the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS® and the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, and most recently served as Region 4 Vice President in 2024 and RPAC Federal Disbursement Liaison in 2023.

Beyond his professional service, David is deeply engaged in his community as Past President of the Rotary Club of Mt. Pleasant and a member of the Charleston County Planning Commission.

In his free time, David enjoys boating, fishing, golfing, and traveling with his family. He and his wife, Minou, a first-grade teacher, have two daughters, Alexandra and Hanna.
