Commercial Investment Division (CID)

The Commercial Investment Division (CID) of CTAR is a group of specialized commercial Realtors® and affiliates representing many local and regional brokerage and development firms. From 2022 to 2024, the Charleston CID was recognized at the Diamond Level Accreditation with the National Association of Realtors®, ranking among the top commercial divisions in the country for its services.

The Charleston CID has been accredited as a member of the National Association of Realtors® Commercial Alliance , which monitors legislative issues related to commercial real estate, offers members educational opportunities, and promotes professionalism.

Please note: All applications for CID membership must be approved by the CID Executive Board.

CID Membership is available to Commercial Realtors®, Developers and Affiliates, but membership must be approved by the CID Executive Board.

CID Realtor® Membership

$ 225 Annually
  • Complete your CID Realtor® application here.
  • 8 monthly luncheon meetings including plated lunch
  • Educational keynote speaker during each meeting
  • Networking opportunities
  • Attendance for you and a guest at the Annual CID Oyster Roast
  • Opportunity to win up to $1,000 educational scholarships for CCIM or SIOR courses
  • 1-2 FREE continuing education courses
  • Discounted rates at the annual Commercial Market Forecast

CID Candidate Membership

$ 225 Annually
  • Complete your CID Candidate application here.
  • 8 monthly luncheon meetings including plated lunch
  • Educational keynote speaker during each meeting

  • Attendance for you and a guest at the Annual CID Oyster Roast
  • Opportunity to win up to $1,000 educational scholarships for CCIM or SIOR courses
  • 1-2 FREE continuing education courses

CID SC Licensee Membership

$ 300 Annually
  • Complete your CID SC Licensee Membership application here.
  • 8 monthly luncheon meetings including plated lunch

  • Advance registration for 1-2 Commercial Education Courses
  • Discounted rates at the annual Commercial Market Forecast

CID Developer’s Membership

$ 300 Annually
  • Complete your CID Developer’s Membership application here.
  • 8 monthly luncheon meetings including plated lunch
  • Networking before and after each meeting including networking and a marketing session
  • Attendance for you and a guest at the Annual CID Oyster Roast in January
  • Discounted rates at the Annual Commercial Market Forecast held each October
  • Contact list of all current CID members - name, phone number and physical company address only
  • Opportunity to sponsor Developer’s Corner at a discounted rate

CID Affiliate Membership

$ 500 Annually
  • Complete your CID Affiliate Member application, here.
  • 8 monthly luncheon meetings including plated lunch
  • Networking before and after each meeting including networking and a marketing session
  • Attendance for you and a guest at the Annual CID Oyster Roast
  • Opportunity to win educational scholarships (for CCIM or SIOR courses)
  • Commercial Continuing Education course for 4 hours of credit (at no cost or deeply discounted)
  • Discounted rates at the Annual Commercial Market Forecast held each October
