The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors CTAR, located in Charleston, South Carolina is seeking a Chief Executive Officer. The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® (CTAR) has served as the “Voice of Real Estate” in the Charleston metropolitan area for nearly 120 years. We are the primary source of all things real estate in the region providing industry advocacy, market statistics and resources for our members.
CTAR has grown significantly since our beginning in 1907. CTAR currently has 6,500 members and an annual consolidated budget of $10.5M. We manage a Commercial Investment Division and Global Business Chapter. These entities operate under the CTAR umbrella and are administered by CTAR’s CEO and staff. While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, organizational management experience is required. An advanced degree in business, law, public administration, or related field is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record for success. They will have a good understanding for working with changing Boards of Directors and Leadership Teams. They will have experience managing collaboration and staff interaction. They will be a cheerleader for their organizations and its members and staff. They will possess a deep understanding of Real Estate Brokerage operations and have the ability to empathize with Brokers.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, integrity, and vision. They will be consensus builders with strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will be positive, creative, and energetic. They will be credible, persuasive, and visible. They will be a strategic thinker.
