The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® (CTAR) is dedicated to embracing and enhancing a culture where all Charleston Realtors® feel like they have a seat at the table, a voice in the conversation, and confidence that their voice will be heard. We are committed to having a membership culture where everyone feels safe and respected as both a professional and an individual.
In April 2021, the Board of Directors voted to make the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion group a standing committee, open to all members. If you’re interested in joining, please email Kravonda.
Below, you’ll find a recap of the work done by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Taskforce prior to the establishment of the full standing committee that is open to ALL Charleston Realtor members!
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion taskforce worked collaboratively to develop a culture statement for CTAR that represents acceptance and inclusion and promotes the belief that everyone has a voice that should be heard, regardless of demographics.
The Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® (CTAR) is committed to a membership culture where diversity, equity and inclusion are at the core of the work we do.
Mutual respect among members is crucial to nurturing an environment where acceptance, awareness, collaboration, professional development, support
and equal treatment are our primary values.
By promoting these values, we ensure each Realtor® member is able to better serve their clients and community. Our diverse membership is made up of professionals from different backgrounds, identities, opinions, perspectives, races, and religions. Together, these unique characteristics make us stronger and are reflective of the community we represent.
CTAR fully embraces members from all walks of life-in acceptance of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national origin, socioeconomic status, political affiliation or any other qualities by which we may define ourselves.
